Le Tour de France: Official Review

I’m a cycling fan, so copy editing the first official review of Le Tour in English was exciting.

Working with translator Roland Glasser, we developed and agreed a writing style with the publisher, VSP, to suit the UK market.

During the three weeks of the Tour we received daily dispatches in French from sports journalist Christian-Louis Eclimont. We shaped these into compelling stage reports for the book. We worked every night, with the deadline for the completed book just three days after the race finish.
