Writing for British Gas

Tone of voice and concept copy

With branding agency Rufus Leonard, I’ve worked on a few projects for British Gas.

In 2016 I reworked their brand tone of voice principles. The challenge was to create principles that people throughout the organisation could understand, connect with and were motivated to adopt.

Then, in 2017, I worked with the UX design team to propose a new structure and content for British Gas’s smart home technology position — following the tone of voice guidelines I’d developed the year before.
