Writing for British Gas
Tone of voice and concept copy.
With branding agency Rufus Leonard (now Frog) I worked on several projects for British Gas.
In 2016 we reworked their brand tone of voice principles. The challenge was to create principles that people throughout the organisation could understand, connect with and were motivated to adopt.
Then, in 2017, I worked with the UX and design teams to develop concepts for the new British Gas smart home technology pages — following the tone of voice guidelines I’d developed the year before. This was rapid, iterative prototyping with our client in the studio giving on-the-spot feedback.
